Amplicon Indexing at AGRF

Overview: Amplicon Indexing at AGRF

AGRF’s Amplicon Indexing Service is a low-cost, high-throughput Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) service for you to prepare and submit amplicons that have been amplified with primers containing Illumina Nextera overhangs.
AGRF will complete the indexing-PCR (Figure 1).

Introducing our New Amplicon Indexing
Service Guide

We have a new service guide for our Amplicon Indexing Service at AGRF and it’s full of useful information on our service. The guide outlines the Amplicon Indexing workflow, technical considerations, sample submission requirements, sample storage guidelines, online sample submission instructions, results and output, and sample shipment information. Read the introduction below or click here to access the full Amplicon Indexing Service Guide.

This service is based on the Illumina 2-Stage (or 2-Step) library preparation protocol designed to partner with our Illumina MiSeq platform and provides you with the flexibility to reduce the cost of amplicon-based NGS by having you perform the first-stage PCR. This is especially suitable for those working with CRISPR or difficult templates as it allows you to tweak and perform the first-stage PCR using protocols you have optimised that may not fit into our complete 2-Stage library preparation package.
