Olink® - Next Generation Proteomic Technology

As an Olink® Certified Service Provider, AGRF is proud to be part of a select network of laboratories recognised globally for their expertise in Olink’s superior high-throughput proteomic technology. Our local laboratory provides Australian researchers with direct access to the advanced Olink® Explore HT, Explore 3072, Target 96 and Target 48 workflows, enabling cutting-edge protein biomarker discovery and reliable protein quantitation across multiple applications.

With a focus on specificity and scalability, the Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) enables accurate protein biomarker detection without cross-reactivity. We offer access to an extensive library of well over 5,000 high quality, thoroughly validated PEA assays for protein biomarkers covering a broad range of biological pathways and processes. This integration of protein-level insights with genomic and transcriptomic information empowers comprehensive studies, facilitating breakthroughs in disease biology, drug development, and personalised medicine.

Olink® Explore HT

Olink Explore HT is engineered for exceptional performance in protein biomarker discovery, where you are conducting pilot studies with a few hundred samples or extensive population studies with biobank cohorts. With the introduction of Olink at AGRF, you now have the capability to accurately measure over 5,400 proteins simultaneously using a single plasma sample. This ground-breaking technology expands applications across various therapeutic areas and enhances our understanding of molecular pathways in disease development, progression, and outcome.

  • A uniquely powerful tool to determine protein causality in disease.

  • Identify actionable biomarkers.

  • Measure the dynamic range of the plasma proteome to deliver more insights at scale.

  • AGRF’s expertise and commitment to seamless genomic sequencing as we transition to new technologies.

Olink® Target

Olink Target is a modular proteomics workflow designed for studying specific diseases and biological processes with multiplex immunoassay panels and minimal sample input. It enables reliable protein quantitation across multiple applications, with pre-designed panels for oncology, immunology, cardiology, and neurology. Whether exploring disease mechanisms, identifying therapeutic targets, or developing diagnostics, Olink Target delivers actionable insights quickly. With high data quality, low sample requirements, and scalability, it’s ideal for advancing research in complex biological systems and personalised medicine.
